New ‘Godzilla’ Movie Coming in 2016 from Toho Japan

For the first time in over a decade, there’s a new Godzilla movie coming from Japan’s Toho Studios. This one’s being directed by none other than Neon Genesis’ Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi.

There was a short trailer released for Godzilla Resurgence last year, but this is our first proper look at the movie, and holy shit does it look good. It’s fitting that, for a series born out of the fear of nuclear war, this latest film instead looks to the recent Tsunami for visual cues.
