Magnificent Giant Tree: “The President”

Standing proudly In California’s Sequoia National Park , is a 3.200 year old colossal tree. Thought to be one of the oldest in the world,. the tree is in fact so huge that for years no one was able to find an effective way to take one single photo of it which captured it in its entirety. Recently however, a team of dedicated photographers and scientists working for National Geographic finally managed to create a single visual record of this colossal wonder for posterity.

Using a monumental amount of modern equipment, to scale the tree, they with a volume of 1,275 cubic metres.and took 126 photographs of the tree,which is still growing fast and has earned the nickname ”The President’.

The task took 32 days in total take a look at the final results below- simply breathtaking
