3/11 – The Tsunami’s First Three Days


Through the use of video captured during the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami in March 2011, this story highlights the tragedy and bravery experienced during one of the worst disasters in history.

Coastal regions in Japan suffered extensive damage as entire towns were wiped out and residents were forced to leave.

A nuclear power plant accident resulted in a hazardous, uninhabitable area. Despite the chaos and disorder, numerous individuals stepped up to help those affected and look for those missing in the aftermath.
