Eden’s Whale Unique Feeding Strategy

One of the most popular videos on the internet right now is a beautiful drone footage of a whale catching its meal in its jaws.

The footage shows the whale with its mouth wide open along the water’s surface and a school of fish swimming into it without realizing it’s a trap. When there are enough fish in its mouth, the whale rotates quickly while abruptly closing its jaws.

The video, which was shot in the Gulf of Thailand, has been seen over 1.5 million times on Twitter.
