Drone Captures Rare Footage of Moose Shedding Antlers

A Canadian wildlife enthusiast encountered what he described as a “once-in-a-lifetime moment” when he witnessed a moose shedding both of its antlers in a snow-covered forest in New Brunswick while filming with a drone.

Derek Keith Burgoyne, who was in Plaster Rock on January 12, spotted three bull moose, with two having already shed their antlers and the third still possessing both. Burgoyne was operating his drone to film the moose when the third moose paused, shook its body, and dropped both antlers into the snow.
