A Photorealistic Railway Station Made with Unreal Engine 5

Lorenzo Drago, a 3D Environment Artist, has unveiled a new ultra-realistic project that is difficult to distinguish from reality.

The artist has digitally recreated Etch-Daimon Station in Imizu, Japan, and made it look as photorealistic as possible by using Camera Matching to get accurate proportions and Unreal Engine 5 and its lighting feature Lumen.

Because Nanite was not used for this project, models were created using the standard low-poly workflow, according to the artist. Megascans provide all of the foliage. The artist shot the video using real-time VR tracking to simulate a handheld camera and flashlight.
